Part of the Community Development in whole, it was proposed to set up a library for all - children and adults including.
For the initial purpose of setting up the library it was proposed that the books will be contributed by members of the compound community. By word of mouth we have received encouraging response. Thank you very much to the families of Kasi Alagapan, Sugumaran Shamugam, Agung Sormin and Medhat Al Shiwi who have started the ball rolling. Many thanks.
At the current moment we have receive approximately 33 books and 7 magazines. We have in our collections some books in Arabic - courtesy of Medhat and family. We are looking forward for more books in all languages - Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, Urdu, Tagalog, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannadam and many more.
We are also looking forward for contribution of cabinets to place the books..... We will start our membership drive soonest possible. For more information on membership please contact Mrs Subhas of Villa 35 (44796093) and Mrs Halima of Villa 19 (44796085)
